A Little Music: Blues & Jazz at The Cuan
Sunday 27th September is sounding good!
Join us at The Cuan for an afternoon of brilliant blues and jazz, featuring the exceptional talents of Ronnie Greer, Ken Haddock and Johnny McCullough.
Enjoy wonderful live music alongside a delicious lunch in the welcoming surroundings of The Cuan. It’s the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon in beautiful Strangford, whether you’re joining us with friends, family or simply looking for an afternoon of great food and fantastic music.

A Little Spice: A Taste of Cem’s Heritage
On Friday 2nd October, we’re turning up the spice with a very special Turkish Small Plates Evening at The Cuan.
We’re delighted to shine a spotlight on Cem Güzel, one of our talented chefs, whose passion for Turkish cuisine comes from his family and his own culinary journey.
Cem was introduced to Turkish cooking from a very young age. His father is originally from Antakya in Hatay, a region renowned for its exceptional cuisine, distinctive flavours and rich culinary heritage. Growing up, Cem spent much of his early years learning the craft and developing his own love of food in his father’s Turkish restaurant.
For our Turkish Small Plates Evening, Cem will be sharing a menu inspired by his heritage and the flavours he grew up with. It’s an opportunity for our guests to experience a very personal side of his culinary journey, with a selection of dishes inspired by the food and traditions that have shaped him as a chef.
